The RA NA President Hovik Abrahamyan sent a telegram of condolence on Vladimir Yengibaryan's death.

I learnt with deep pain about the death of the legendary boxer, Olympic Champion Vladimir Yengibaryan.

Vladimir Yengibaryan's death is a big loss not only for his family members, but also for the fans of the Armenian sport and boxing. He was symbolizing a whole generation of boxers, whose experience and achievements have brought up many young athletes. He will always remain in everybody's memory and at the top of the Armenian sport history. He takes with him a whole era of the Armenian sport and Olympic history, leaving the infinite golden page of brilliant victories won by the athlete Vladimir Yengibaryan in the history of world sport.

I deeply express my condolences to Vladimir Yengibaryan's family, relatives and friends and share their grief.
